Josh Pastner Memphis Coach - Memphis Tigers have a new coach and he is no one else than Josh Pastner, an assistant to former coach Calipari. Athletics spokesman Bob Winn said there is a press conference scheduled at noon for this basketball team.
Josh Pastner, Memphis coach worked one year with Calipari after working in Arizona, where he also played. He may have been only one season but during that time the Tigers won a Conference USA title.
Pastner has already some experience as a basketball coach having worked with AAU squads, From what we seen, Memphis really wanted to stay with Calipari but things didn’t turn out that way and Pastner would be the coach who will “wow” Tiger basketball fans.
