Byron Trott is leaving Warren Buffet and now he plans to start BDT Capital Partners! This notice of the launch of BDT happens almost 30 years (27 to be precise) after Byron Trott being an advisor for Warren Buffet on Goldman Sachs.
BDT Capital Partners from Byron Trott is set to be a merchant-banking fund looking to raise 2 billion dollars. According to recent information it seems that people are not willing to work in banks that received money for the government for the financial crisis,a nd now there are many start up banking.
Warren Buffet made a declaration today to the Wall street Journal about the issue, saying that
“We’ll have a modest partnership interest. We will not be the big dog”
