MOATS: “My mom is dying.”
MOATS: “I waited until no traffic was coming. I got seconds before she’s gone, man.
MOATS: “Just give me a ticket or whatever.”
POWELL: “Shut your mouth. You can cooperate and settle down, or I can just take you to jail for running a red light.”
MOATS:“If you’re going to give me a ticket, give me a ticket”
POWELL: “Your attitude says that you need one,”
MOATS: “All I’m asking you is just to hurry up”
POWELL: “If you want to keep this going, I’ll just put you in handcuffs and I’ll take you to jail for running a red light. Understand what I can do. I can tow your truck. I can charge you with fleeing. I can make your night very difficult.”

Policeman Robert Powell has been working in Dallas since 2006, and the situation gets complicated for him as it has been found out that he was following Moats, and this is against the policy. What a shithead police officer!

Chief David Kunkle said

“It appears, what he said, to have been contrary to our pursuit policy, to where he may have lied about the circumstances under which the pursuit began. So that is something else we are going to investigate.”
