Gene Simmons, widely known member of the band KISS and proud owner of the “gene simmons tongue” has set as his new goal to be a reality TV star. Having starred in his own A&E show “Family Jewels”, he’s now scheduled to appear on the reality game show “Are you smarter than a 5^th grader?”.

Simmons is playing the game for charity, supporting the Elizabeth Glazer pediatric AIDS foundation., and you can see him in action on Friday, November 7 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT on FOX.

Oh, by the way, he also starred on “School of Rock” a great show I used to watch on MTV where he taught music to a group of british kids from a fancy school.  Rock on Gene!!
