Alonzo Mourning’s Book Talks About Adversity, Recruitment
Alonzo Mourning NBA star, has presented his new book “Resilience“, a book that is will sure get the attention of the NCAA. He wants to inspire people with his book as he was inspired by cyclist Lance Armstrong. In an interview with AP he said:
“He played a big role in my overall approach to coming back and playing the game, reading both of his books, learning more about his life, his experiences and how he dealt with adversity.”
And why will this book grab the attention of the NCAA? Well Mourning also writes in the book about his recruitment and talk how he was courted with clothes, shoes and even strip club visits by Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia and Georgia Tech.
Yup, the life of a basketball star.
