Ed Hochuli Email – He’s Very Very Sorry
After making a mistake on a an NFL game, referee Ed Hochuli has been suffering the hate of aggrieved Charger fans, to the point that his Wikipedia page was locked due to the amount of profanity added.
In an email he says that he is receiving a lot of hate mail, but he is still responding to everyone because he know he failed. Read on:

Affecting the outcome of a game is a devastating feeling. Officials strive for perfection - I failed miserably. Although it does no good to say it, I am very, very sorry.

Poor Ed, the guy must feel depressed. That’s the huge responsibility referees have on games. He may be risking his life because of some insane fans out there. Well, at least he is assuming his failure!
