I have a Chicago niche-clientele that commissions rings after breakups to 'celebrate themselves'. This isn't new, just a alternative to conventional thinking. After a rude breakup, I made a ring to remind me to be 'faithful to myself'. It's a lovely way to reclaim your voice out of a tough lesson.

I have noticed more and more being said about "divorce rings". Two of the rings I designed (the rose, and the sun rising) is on your sight. If you go to my site at www.transitionrings.com, you will see that these rings are all about moving on in HOPE. If you click on each ring, there is moving poem that goes with it. After my divorce, a friend told me to "move on" over and over. So I have, but not without a bunch of pain! The ring has been a symbol of hope for me. My rings are different. They were created out of pain mixed with hope. They are for any transition, the fun ones, or the hard ones!
