Divorce rings - Although some may have thought this is like the “Ring of Death”, the divorce rings are actual rings you put in your fingers! Much like engagement or marriage rings, these rings celebrate…well the end of a relationship.

News of these “divorce rings” come soon after news appeared for single people! My guess is this is a beginning of a trend, kinda like those rubber bands everybody used. Rings for every imaginable occasion. Plus, it gives people more reasons to buy jewelry. Imagine how could the jewelry business could grow if this starts big.

  1. I have noticed more and more being said about “divorce rings”. Two of the rings I designed (the rose, and the sun rising) is on your sight. If you go to my site at http://www.transitionrings.com, you will see that these rings are all about moving on in HOPE. If you click on each ring, there is moving poem that goes with it. After my divorce, a friend told me to “move on” over and over. So I have, but not without a bunch of pain! The ring has been a symbol of hope for me. My rings are different. They were created out of pain mixed with hope. They are for any transition, the fun ones, or the hard ones!

  2. I have a Chicago niche-clientele that commissions rings after breakups to ‘celebrate themselves’. This isn’t new, just a alternative to conventional thinking. After a rude breakup, I made a ring to remind me to be ‘faithful to myself’. It’s a lovely way to reclaim your voice out of a tough lesson.
