Famous British reporter Richard Quest was arrested yesterday for possession of meth, a controlled substance. A New Your judge has ordered six months of counseling for him. Quest is a visible face of CNN specially on their international network. I’ve seen his own show “Quest” quite a few times.
He was arrested in Central Park for being in the park after 1 am. It was 3:40 am. But police then became suspicious of a plastic bag in his pocket according to police spokesman John Grimphel.
Quest, 46 then had to go to the jury where he was given the chance to dismiss the case if he went to counseling. Quest’s lawyer, Alan Abramson said:
“Mr. Quest did not realize that the park had a curfew and was returning to his hotel with friends. The matter is scheduled to be dismissed,”
They guy’s lucky, in other case maybe he could have been sent to jail. Those were the strange events lived by Richard Quest.
