Stanley Kamel Found Dead at Home

“Monk” Star Stanley Kamel was found dead today at his home in Hollywood, he was 65. The actor played Dr. Charles Kroger in this popular TV show. I’ve never been a fan of Monk but I watched it from time to time because my father’s a Monk junkie.

In the series he was the therapist treating Monk from OCD.

Representatives said:

“Actor Stanley Kamel was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday, April 8, by his long time agents and friends, Donna Massetti and Marilyn Szatmary. Cause of death at this time is unknown. …He is survived by his brothers Dr. Stephen Kamel and Robert Kamel, 5 nieces and nephews, and 6 grand nieces and nephews,”

Stanley Kamel also acted on other popular series in varying roles such as “The West Wing,” “Six Feet Under,” “Melrose Place,” “The Golden Girls,” “Days of Our Lives”, “Murder One”and “Beverly Hills 90210”
