‘American Idol’ David Cook Sent to Hospital
American idol news for today. One of the contestants, David Cook, had to be taken to the hospital last night after the show. Apparently Cook is suffering from stress-related palpitations, and he was later released with a prescription to help him lower his blood pressure.
Cook, who was feeling a little light headed, managed to finish his performance like a true artist, and as soon as he ended his rendition of “Little Sparrow” he was taken to the hospital.
An American Idol insider told E! That he is now OK and is staying in the hotel where contestants are this year. The insider also told that his stress could also be related to news about his brother’s condition, he has cancer.
Anyway, Ryan Seacrest spoke:
“I don’t know what he was stressed about. He said yesterday that his blood pressure was high and he wanted to get checked out after the show.”
We hope David is now OK, and that he keeps on int he contest, he’s one of my favorite singers this year.
