Meet the World’s Tallest Man

His name is Leonid Stadnyk, and he is the World’s tallest man. He is certainly an extraordinary man, but at the same time his story reminds us of how hard is the World for people who don’t “fit in”. For instance, Leonid, who is form Ukraine can’t find a seat in a car or a bus, has been forced to quit the job he loves and practically lives recluded in his small village.

But as he says, even with those hard things that occur to him, his condition has also let him be part of the kindness and good heart of other people. Living with the record Guinness has only given fame but not fortune, and so he has clothing thanks to the help of people from Ukraine and around the world who give him these over sized clothes.

“Thanks to good people I have shoes and clothes,” said Stadnyk who was once a veterinarian.

In 2006, Stadnik was officially measured at 2.57 meters tall (8 feet 5 inches), surpassing a Chinese man to claim the title of the world’s tallest person.

When he was 14 he had a brain operation that seemed to spark increased growth hormones, because he hasn’t stopped growing ever since. However despite his size, he’s kind and resembles a child.

Leaonid Stadnik has gained the sympathy of Ukraine’s president Viktor Yushchenko. His personal tailor has made him to suits, and he is planning to build him a giant car.

“I have always dreamt that my life and the life of my loved ones … would become more comfortable,” Stadnik said speaking about a giant size bicycle that he got. “My dream is coming.
true.”

His sympathy and kindness must be an example to people all around. Those were the news on the World’s Tallest Man.
