Dina Matos McGreevey on the News Again
Now that we are living times of Spitzer-mania, the shadows of past scandals come back from the death. I am talking in special about the case of former N.J. Governor James McGreevey and Dina Matos McGreevey.
Theodore Pedersen, who was the man involved in trysts with thw McGreevey couple, has spoken to the
“[Dina Matos McGreevey]’s trying to make this a payday for herself. She should have told the truth about the three of us.” Pedersen did not say if he was gay or bisexual and only described having contact with Matos McGreevey during the trysts. He also said he never knew for sure if McGreevey was gay.
“I had heard the rumors in circles outside of work,” he said. “In hindsight, there might have been light interest (in me), but it didn’t seem like he was gay. It did enhance their sexual relationship having me be a part of it.”
Let’s remember that Dina Matos McGreevey told that she had no idea of his husband being gay. She even says that his husband duped her into marriage in 2000 for political reasons and that she had no clue of his sexual preferences. She also recalled a strange conversation she had with James McGreevey during those hard moments:
Two days later, Dina writes, he went further, using a certain three-letter word for the first time: “I think I might be gay.”
She didn’t learn he was certain he was gay - “a gay American” - until she read a draft of his speech a few hours before he delivered it.
“You have to smile,” he reportedly reminded her on the way to the announcement.
“And if reporters ask you why you’re here, you should tell them, ‘I’m here because he’s my husband and I love him.’
“And if the reporters ask you what you think of gay marriage, you should say, ‘I’m sensitive to the issue.’”
“Make sure you smile a little more when I ask for forgiveness and thank you for bringing joy to my life,” he added.
Anyway, I think both could be telling the truth in one way or another. Even if the three had trysts it doesn’t necessarily mean that James Mc was gay. Well, I leave you with some more Dina Matos McGreevey pictures:
