Brett Favre Retirement Press Conference
Brett Favre held a press conference today to talk about his retirement. This was an emotive time for him, he even shed some tears during the conference. I guess all Wisconsin feel bad for the news.
Brett talked about his retirement and unlike other statements he didn’t read any paper, he just talked, and that’s what most people remember about him, that he is a genuine guy and will be greatly missed as a professional athlete.
The most striking sentence in his conference to me is:
“I’ve given everything I possibly can to this organization. I don’t think I’ve got anything left to give. I know I can still play. But I don’t think I want to.”
Who knows? Maybe someday we’ll witness his return to the field. That would be great.
