According to court papers, Melissa Moss emailed two pictures of herself showing her breast. The parents told police and school officials that hey found the pictures while patrolling their kid’s activity on the Web.
But not all has been accusations, Theresa profile in Facebook that was created in support of her. Many of her students were happy with her teaching and interest in the classes. Some parents don’t believe this is true and they are stunned by the news:
“It is very disturbing and you know it’s kind of a sign of the times the way we live with a lot of internet access and Face book and things like that. As a parent you have to be on constant vigil to make sure, you have to know what your kids are getting into,” said Robert Pfeiffer who has a son in Melissa Moss’s class.
Debby Watson, the school’s president also raised her voice in this matter: “it’s frustrating, it’s upsetting, it’s disappointing. It’s all of those emotions. But what I’m most proud of is that parents did the job they needed to do. And they work in partnership with the school.”
Moss could end up in jail for a year for the charge of misdemeanour. She didn’t use the school system to send the pictures. I think it should be well investigated. You know sometimes kids search these pics and then save them on the computer. In any case, it is good such problems are coming to the light, and there should be some “priest” child molesters coming to the light too!
