Paul Tilley Commits Suicide
Paul Tilley died last Friday, he was the managing director for creative at DDB one of the biggest advertising agencies in the World. After a medical examination his death was ruled a suicide.
Tilley worked with big companies since he took charge of DDB Chicago creative area back in 2006, companies like McDonald’s and Anheuser-Busch. The day news of his death were spread, Rick Carpenter, president of DDB sent this memo to the staff:
“Last night, Paul Tilley tragically died at age 40. The reality of this news is difficult to comprehend. It is such loss for DDB, but also for our industry, our community, and certainly for his family and all who loved him. … Paul was a mentor to many, a friend to all. His ability to lead, inspire, and yes, entertain will be so greatly missed.”
Paul Tilley’s suicide leaves a widow and two children without a dad. Our thoughts are with them, and well, we’ve lost one of today’s biggest minds in advertising.
Those were the news about Paul Tilley.
