who gives a damn about her personal life? this is a photo essay. lindsay lohan may be the scum of the earth but she and this photographer did an amazing job recreating marilyn monroe’s appeal. as a matter of fact, thousands, if not millions, of women have tried to recreated monroe’s photo shoots and i have never seen any that were anything close to this. her facial expressions are dead on. her poses seem very natural. this is beautiful.

Christ, why are people such dicks about celebrities? I’d hazard a guess that Lohan is better looking than, say, 4/5 women. I tend to agree with those who say that hating on a celebrity is just plain nuts. You don’t know what her life is like. How can you possibly judge her. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes. Americans seem to think that being famous means you are perfect. Americans love to point out all the little faults a celebrity has. As if fame has made these flaws did not exist before they became famous. They are human. They are NOT perfect. They only APPEAR perfect because we want them to be.

We want these people to be perfect so that when they aren’t we can take our frustration out on them. We see our imperfections as something to be disliked and removed. We know we can’t remove our imperfections so we take that frustration out on those who seem to have no such imperfections.
