Matt Taibbi Goldman Sachs Article

Rolling Stone magazine has published an article by Matt Taibbi called “The Great American Bubble Machine“.  This article talks in great detail about the role of Goldman Sachs in the current economic crisis we live in.

If you are being hat by the financial crisis, this is a MST read article, that will open your eyes to how the market really works, and how common folks like you and I, don’t count nothing in the big players’ games.

By the way, Goldman Sachs, has reacted to the article and released a statement saying that:

“We reject the assertion that we are inflators of bubbles and profiteers in busts, and we are painfully conscious of the importance in being a force for good.”

Matt Taibbi replied:

“Goldman has its alumni pushing its views from the pulpit of the U.S. Treasury, the NYSE, the World Bank, and numerous other important posts; it also has former players fronting major TV shows. They have the ear of the president if they want it.”

A big company reacting to simple article? This surely means something, and also keep in mind that just coincidentally, Sarah Palin surprisingly resigns, quickly diverting attention from the article that has quickly become popular on the Net.

Air New Zealand Safety Video

Air New Zealand safety video has gone viral. In it we can see the usual safety recommendations and guidelines with the crew wearing nothing but body paint! Definitely a smart move from Air New Zealand marketing area.

Now the video in itself is pretty entertaining, and well, you don’t get to see the round parts of the hot flight attendant until the end (when you see her back blurry), but it does a great job keeping your attention, something very hard to do these days.

Steve Bayliss, marketing manager said:

“We think in tough times there’s a premium for making people smile, and it gives the opportunity to stand out in a crowd,”

Palin Steps down as Governor | Sarah Palin Resignation

Palin Steps Down - On a surprise press conference, Sarah Palin has announced that she will step down as Alaska Governor, and that she will not run for reelection on the next elections.

This happened on a brief press conference just a few minutes ago.  This follows a string a bad vents from Palin, and seems that she wants to take time off.  There is also some talk that Sarah Palin resignation allows her to focus better on her future presidential aspirations.

Palin will step down in a few weeks, leaving in charge Lt. Governor Sean Parnell.

Sarah Palin Resigns! | Sarah Palin Press Conference

Sarah Palin Resigns! Sarah Palin press conference has announced that she will no longer run for Alaska Governor.  She will stop any reelection plans after her term ends on 2010. And on top of that she will resign and will be stepping down in a few weeks.

Rumors out there say that the Alaska Governor, Palin, is making that move in order to later pursue a presidential bid in 2012.

The press conference was pretty quick and there was no room for further questions.  Who will replace her? Lt. Governor Sean Parnell.
